The last time I can remember an ad working for me was the Trailer for Doctor Strange 2 Into the Multiverse of Madness.  It worked because it had everything I wanted in it. It had my top 2 favorite characters in it. Doctor Strange and The Scarlet Witch. I was especially excited for W and because I just finished watching WandaVision. In WandaVision we just see how her grief turned into enslaving an entire town, and how she turned into the Scarlet Witch. In the end of WandaVision we see a teaser of her reading the darkhold which corrupts anyone who reads it, so I was excited to see how they took the character in the movie after all of that happened. The trailer was also super visually appealing. I’m a very visual person, so anything that has beautiful; visuals immediately draws me in. I’ve also always been a fan of magic stuff, and this trailer showcased a lot of magic, and I mean a lot. Like common the protagonist and the Antagonist were both super powerful magic users who wouldn’t want to watch that. Another thing that the trailer does to convince me to watch the movie is the music. I used to be in music, so I have a lot of appreciation for that kind of stuff. It was also composed by Danny Elfman who has made masterpieces from The Nightmare before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Charlie and the chocolate factory, Coraline, etc. He is a master when it comes to music, so his music in the trailer/movie really pulled me in. The trailer for me did a really good job convincing me to watch the movie, because it hit every single thing that I like, and made it totally awesome and totally captivating. This trailer and movie was a match made in heaven.
