Talk about some sort of video you've watched online recently. What was its purpose? Was it successful with its purpose? Why? Be specific.  A video that I've watched recently is a Markipler video playing a fan-made Five Nights at Freddy's game.( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPTyH7Bx2Fc ) He was playing the Glitched Attraction which is like Five Nights at Freddy's escape room. The purpose was to entertain his audience, including those who are fans of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. I think that his video was successful in doing so. One reason why it was successful is the game itself. The game is very entertaining to watch, and some of the puzzles in them are interesting(even if we technically aren't doing the puzzles). It was especially funning seeing Chica, an animatronic chicken, clock you in the face. Another thing that made this video entertaining was Markipler's personality. Markipler is extremely funny, and just how he goes about things is ve...

Do you have any pets? Share a funny story about them I have to dogs named Ginger and Toby, and there are pretty much too many funny stories about them to choose from!  But If I had to choose one it would be the time me and my aunt and uncle were playing with them in our living room. My aunt and uncle have a lot of spare glasses around, and we decided it would be funny to put them on Ginger and Toby. They looked absolutely hilarious, and they were very distinguished looking. We took like a million photos of them because it was just too funny not to.

Another choice the creators used to bring all the artists to the yard(and they're like it’s better than yours…sorry) was their use of colors. Specifically their uses of bright, neon colors. The colors in the trailer are very dark and gritty. Even when it was showcasing the city of Piltover ( which is the richer city above ground in the sunlight).  The colors are desaturated for the most part giving it a very depressing feeling which for those who watched the show is very accurate. Then. Boom! These bright neon colors are everywhere! Neon colors pop a lot more than other colors, but because the trailer typically is desaturated with its colors, the neon pops even more. Your eye is brought to the colors because of that high contrast, and it totally works.  Take this scene in the trailer for example(about 30 seconds in)   This entire scene is dark. It has a few bright colors here and there, but for the most part, it's super dark. The sign on the other hand is a bright ...

The Arcane trailer showcases vivid, beautiful animation that would make any artist's jaw drop to the floor. The choice to do animation was a smart one. They could have easily made this show live-action, but it would’ve lost that oomph that the animation gives this show. Take it from me, animation takes a long, long, long, long, time. An average 90 min animated movie can take up to 4-7 years. Live action is significantly lower than that. I believe Arcane took about 6 years to make. As beautiful as animation can be making one is a huge risk. It takes so long to make you risk losing all that money it took to make. So it was a bold choice to make it animated, but I think it was the right one. Animation is very stylized, and there are many different stylistic choices you can make that make it visually appealing. They also didn’t have to make the animation look good or smooth. They could have put a little effort into the animation, making it go quicker, but it looks like crap. It doesn’t...

What's better: Horror or Comedy? Why? Be specific.  I believe that comedy is better than horror. Comedy is fun and funny. It makes you laugh, and laughter is known to be the best medicine. There is even some enjoyment that can be taken out of the terrible jokes. There are plenty of people who watch bad movies just so that they can laugh at them. Horror on the other hand, while some can take the enjoyment out of them, doesn’t quite have that same appeal in my opinion. This is definitely subjective, but I rather laugh than be scared. There are people who get so afraid of watching horror movies that they can’t go to sleep that same night. I for sure don’t want that. There are even horror comedies that have a big focus on comedy. There are some horror movies that are so bad that they're funny. Comedy is everywhere when it comes to film. People like to be entertained. Not as many people like to be frightened. Even if comedy isn’t THE most popular genre, you can’t deny that it is ...

Writing Prompt 10/6

What do you do on rainy days? Honestly? Nothing at all.  Well, I guess that's sort of a lie. I just do what I would normally do just with the extra caution of not stepping a foot outside. I mainly play video games for literally half of the day. Not even joking. Then I do one of the two things, draw or sleep. I guess I become extra lazy when its's raining like the gloominess has taken over my body.

Writing Prompt 9/20

Are you the same person you were last year? Tell us how you have (or haven’t) changed. I would say that I'm pretty much the same person as I was last year. I still don't really go out that much ,or interact with other people. I don't think it was as bad as it was last year where I would socialized at all, but it hasn't really changed that much. I still have the same interests as I did last year. I still like Superheros, anime, all that fun stuff still. I still think it's a bit early for me to change since starting college, but I don't doubt that I will change in some way. I'm pretty sure that when I am a senior I can answer this question with a No, Im not the same person.
